Getting a White Saturn.....

Post by Pullmyfinger »

Hi, I'm thinking of getting a white saturn, does anyone know if a modchip can be installed on it? Or if models vary like the round button saturn?

Varys like American systems only more so. Sense they produce more units in Japan, there is more variation. I don't know if there is any sure fire way to tell which have the 32 pin board and which has the 64 pin.

I got it and sadly, it doesn't look at all like any of my other saturns, I'll post some pics later. But at least it was a very good deal, it was $7 with 2 controllers

The guy gave it to me as non-working but it didn't come with A/V cables so we couldn't test it, he traded it for a DC shenmue I got for $7. I tried it out with an Audio CD and it played fine, but I don't have any Jap games to test it.

I also got some other good deals this weekend at flea markets, I got a Nomad and a complete CDX with 2 6-button pads for around $50

Thanks! I get most of my retro stuff at flea markets dirt cheap, most people don't even know what they're selling!
