PSX-boot-cd

hi there,

just wanted to ask if someones got a working multi-region-boot-cd for the PS at hand, since every image i found on the web didn`t work and my ps-mod-chip doesn`t do anything any more :-(

was there ever a really working boot-cd for the PSX ???

I don't think their is one that you can burn.
You need something to boot a CD-R that isn't a CD-R itself...

Breaker Pro is supposedly great. I used a PS-X-Change disc before I modded the system. It only works on PS1s though, and not PS2s. Also, it caused a select few games to have issues, like random freezing in Arc the Lad 1. Breaker Pro might also suffer from this. Go with a mod chip if possible. PS1 chips are fairly easy to install, unless you have a PSone mini. That was a bit of a tight squeeze.

Chipping is a lot better, disc swapping gets old very fast

And it's a major bitch for all multi disc games that dont offer saving between disc changes. Like Parasite Eve 2, MGS, Chrono Cross. You have to do the old swap trick blind, and you have even less time to do it then normal.

yes the chip is the way to go
If your looking for a cheep one go to modchips outlet
there only like 12$ for the 8 wier stealth
