A SNES repro PCB with FeRAM support

Post by Soniccd123 »

Hello,

It's me again, now with a new project. I've been working on it since June and i think it finally is mature enough for sharing.

Here it is: https://github.com/soniccd123/SNES-FeRAM-Cart

This is a SNES repro PCB with save support using a FeRAM chip. It supports both HiROM and LoROM games with the use of jumpers and also support SuperCIC, although I wasn't able to test it as i don't have a unit. As the Genesis one i've decided to share it as a open hardware project to give the oportunity for others to learn and modify it as needed.

As said in the other thread, the IC were chosen thinking of what i have available for myself (and the FeRAM thinking of my hatred of batteries lol). If this doesn't serve you, be welcome to do all the modifications you may need. The project was done on KiCAD and as such can be modified using it.

I've tested it in real hardware and it has worked really well so far. If anyone note any problem or sugestion, be welcome to notify me.

As always, I hope this helps someone!
