Nintendo 64 Portable Case ideas?

So I'm making a Nintendo 64 portable for a friend to give them in December, but I'm at a loss as to what to use for a case. Since I don't know how to vaccum form, and don't have a 3d printer, what are some good alternatives for a case?

Vacuum forming isn't a hard thing to do, you just need a vacuum forming machine. A lot of people make their own, there's a lot of tutorials out there. If you can turn an N64 into a portable, then building your own vacuum forming machine isn't out of your league. There's lots of ways to do it on a budget.

We have all been there. Good cases can be made with even the N64's case. If you want to make something to fit however you can easily use 2mm thick styrene for the front and back and then either use strips to make the sides (to make it boxy) or made up of thin strips to make a shape for the edges and then sand to be smooth.
