Free McBoot on PS2 Slim

I've spent the past hour trying in vain to get this god damn program on my PS2 memory card, and I give up. I've tried following tutorials, but they inevitably all tell me to download a program for which I can find nothing but broken links. Here's what I'm working with.

I got the PS2 Slim, obviously. I have a memory card, obviously. I have an Action Replay Max disc and a flash drive. I know how to work the memory manager utility in Action Replay. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what the hell I need to put on the memory card, how to get it, and what to do from there? I'm at my wit's end with this crap. I just want to play imports!

Have you tried this guide? It helped me a couple of years ago, but I'm not on a computer to verify links.

I didn't own the AR or Swap Magic Disc... plus needed another mem card so I just ordered one off ebay for like $3 more than a standard card.

Once you get it running, chime in on the thread below!!! I'm just now jumping onboard with this about 8 years later than most and updating my progress. I'll be trying the imports NiGHTS game running off the HDD for sure eventually.

I've seen your massive collection... no fat PS2 laying around for HDD loading?

Not sure if you're still working on this project, but I recommend just buying a FMB PS2 memory card from eBay. I think I got mine for $18 USD. It saves a lot of time and headache.
