>What type of DVD brand

JVC / Taiyo Yuden (VP-R47HGS25) DVD+R 16X Premium Grade, Gold Lacquer Branded Blank DVD Plus R Media Discs 4.7 GB in 25 Spindle

Made by Taiyo Yuden, sold by JVC. These are the best you can get.

If you use anything less than the combination I described above, you do so at the long term detriment of your PS2's DVD laser diode.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

btw dont buy DVD-R / CD-R off ebay they will most likely be fakes get them from a reputable shop like http://www.rima.com/ and http://www.supermediastore.com/ etc...........

also remember what i said with my Dreamcast , if it loads quick and sounds tight its a good thing. If your PS2 is taking ages to load and sounds sluggish change your , burner , burn software , burn speed , media.

All the more reason to go with OPL, you wont be putting any wear and tear on the optical drive (even less than using retails discs!).
