Modifying the Sega HST-3200
Can I install a mod chip in a Sega HST-3200? If so, what's the ease? Thanks
From browsing google it looks like the hst-3200 JP was almost identical to the first model 1 in the US.
I'm guessing it is possible with modification to the modchip
like this:
http://www.angelfire.com/pa/Raluminat/model1.html
http://www.racketboy.com/saturn-modchip ... nstall.htm
I could not find a guide to alter the green modchips to 20 pin ribbon 64pin IC systems that had the IC under the cd board or up in the lid (ver 1). I'm sure it's doable but no one bothers.
I can't give you a definitive yes I guess. Maybe someone here has a picture scan of a model 1 grey jp saturn motherboard ~.~
