these battery packs are 20+ years old
NIcad batteries only last about 4-5 years tops. Less if you recharge them alot.
Their longevity is kaput! Good luck trying to charge a battery that hasn't been charged in over a decade.
Just go find a yellow tipped genesis plug.
Or a whole bunch of rechargable AA batteries if you want the portable experience.

i need to open the pack so i can get the battery replaced and use it for my psone with the lcd screen and the nomad i have a powerback that i changed the battery in and it will power the nomad and the psone but i want something to strap to my belt of put in my pocket
