BeagleBone + Emu = New Handheld

Found a pretty interesting hack if you're into emulation and handheld gaming. It's a work in progress but certainly opens up a ton of really cool possibilities for the hardware hacking and emulation community.

That's really cool! I want one!

...
If I didn't already have a Raspberry pi on the way in the mail, and that hardware wasn't so unknown (probably less community support for glitches I'm thinking) I'd love to play around with it. It seems to be a better wallet-sized development platform.

Still, a few of the new Android-based chinese-built handhelds with gaming controls built-in appear to be rivaling the Pandora lately as far as open development handhelds go. Yet another one I want to own and experiment with when I should be keeping up on the developments of my other handhelds. Did you know you can play X-COM UFO Defense perfectly on a GP2X Wiz - touch-screen and everything?

Gotta Catch Them All!

I know nothing about the GP2X Wiz, but it sure looks cool. I'll have to read more about it. I've never been to crazy into handhelds, but I love tinkering. I've always liked the idea of a handheld that you can still hook up to a TV for some large screen action!
