Anyway, does anyone know how to remove the nintendo 64 jewel-that is the big logo on the front of the console. My reasoning for doing this is so I can replace it with a ultra 64 jewel, as seen on the origional prototypes.

Americans don't have SCART


Americans don't have any standardized RGB monitors either. Easiest thing to do is get an arcade monitor, female SCART end, wire it in with a LM1336 chip and use your systems respective SCART cable. There is of course the commodore 64 path, but I really couldn’t see my self playing N64 games on a commodore monitor. Probably the best idea for people who don’t have SCART and don’t want to buy an arcade monitor is to buy the RGB to S-Video and Y Pr Pb Component board from j-rok or neobitz. (RGB is RGB Component, for some reason they decided to go with Y Pr Pb component for American tv’s)
