It's a plug-and-play option that allows you to play imports on a Sega Mega CD instead of having to download the different BIOSes onto a memory card like the Everdrive series. You can simply change the region with a button press at start-up. It also acts like a RAM cart. There are more features, but those are the main ones for me.

Ohh, that sounds super convenient. I just use my Everdrive, but that definitely sounds like an easier way to go about it. Good luck on your search!
