mate how is this - http://www.racketboy.com/store/sega-dre ... e-box.html

Different to this - http://www.racketboy.com/store/sega-dre ... eo-av.html

Note: im currently running my DC into a 1080P Phillips 42inch LCD. it goes full widescreen but looks a little blurry. i just run the Red/Yellow/White leads directly into the TV.

i obv want to run the VGA cable to the TV (will have to check later if its got one) and then the White and Red cables into the back of my HK 240 Amp.

Which box will support this?

Your TV's Pc input should have either a headphone jack styled input, or a regular AV Jack input for audio right next to it.

The VGA Boxes output audio over both Jacks and a Headphone style line, while the VGA Cables only output audio over the Headphone styled line.

The VGA box also outputs S-Video.

I just placed an order for the VGA BOX

My TV has a VGA Input then above it says "PC Audio In" is this what you mean?

now i understand to plug it in my dreamcast i buy the blue VGA cable that i usually use for my PC.

now to get stereo sound through the amp i have - do i plug one end into this PC AUDIO IN and then into the red and white in my amp (i.e. a 2 to 1 cable) or do i plug the white and red cables into the VGA box and the other ends into my amplifier?

it should have a 3.5mm stereo jack and you would need a male/male 3.5mm stereo cable

the family dollar store sells new RCA brand 6ft for $3.49

they also make a 3.5mm male that break out into 2 female RCA L & R so they could be hooked up to surround sound, home recieiver, jamma, arcade audio amp's etc.

it is also possible to cut a wire or pin with will drive the DC to run 15K for arcade monitor use.

Racketboy if you want to make a killing there's many makes and models of DC vga box's floating around and your price is pretty much the same as others.

We all need to put some heads together and figure out how to make the component or VGA cable for the nintendo gamecube.

they sell for $45.00-$75.00 at most place's and if there was someone out there that had the same or same results for around $35.00 or less they would be selling faster then they could be made for sure.

I could never get my dreamcast via VGA to work on my Samsung LCD tv. Kinda pisses me off.

I think its a problem with the dreamcast or the vga box because i doubt its the tv since it will work fine with a comp at that resolution.

Hate to say it but it is your lcd as the dreamcast has a prblem with many samsung lcd models where they run flawless on most other brands.

but yeah more then likely it is the samsung.

try it on a buddys pc or lcd and I bet it fires right up.

I really wish i knew what exactly is the problem. Its not a huge deal though because i rarely play my dreamcast at the moment anyways as i am playing my saturn, x'eye and duo-r most of the time.

Its just kinda nags at me now and then.
