N64 recommendations

I'll confess -- the N64 is, perhaps, the only console I disliked. Owning one is really just a symptom of Bomberman disease; virtually every console which has a Bomberman game, has found its way into my home. Unfortunately, Bomberman for the N64 is not something I'd recommend -- the beloved battle mode plays like a limp Poy-Poy.

I'm setting up a cabinet for all my old systems -- and in doing so, I'd like to give this one another chance. I'm sure there has to be some great games for my dusty N64 -- I just don't know which ones!

Ultimately, my favorite games tend to be party/multi-player games. Some favorites of mine include Chu Chu Rocket, Bomberman, Devil Dice, Samba De Amigo, Worms and the Powerstone games. Knowing that, which N64 games do you think I'd like?

Thanks!

Outside of the obvious first party ones, I can't think of many.

Yeah, so its official. It still sucks. My opnion is now etched in stone.

I finally got the N64 powered back on. Dug out my few N64 cartridges and was quickly... bored.

I played Robotron 64 up to level 89 and just had to turn the damn thing off. I don't even know if its worth looking for a copy of Mario Kart for the stripped down sparc.

Most games on that system have aged terribly. I fired up an N64 recently when a dude left his collection of 40 some carts here with the system. I found that none of them were any fun, even the ones I used to love, like Goldeneye. It's a terrible game now. Music is still cool though.

Kirby 64 still rules, though.

I really liked Mischief Makers. Of course, everything Treasure makes is great.

i´ll say this about the n64 it was great back when it was new..but yes it has aged badly..the main reason is 3d graphics in general age far faster..if it had been more about good 2d games with 3d backgrounds or 2d platformers with polygonal characters then it might have aged better..super smash bros is a fine example of that i still play it now and then even if i have played it to death
