Finally Jag got it.

NWO was a group formed in WCW.

ECW was a completely different company, the third option next to WCW and the then WWF.

I know only wrestling nerds would really catch that though.

@noise, there is a ECW game on N64 also. That's probably what you're thinking of. It's a solid black cart the times I've seen it.

ECW "Hardcore" was niche but bigger on east coast (Philly based). WCW was southern territories originally & HQed in Atlanta. Enough of that now ancient history... bottom line... um, bc "Stone Cold Said So" ...

N64 has some awesome wrestling games. I was in a WCW household so I leaned towards the WCW vs NWO game. Many summer days sunk into it with neighborhood buds yelling at the TV

Noise, if you're interested, I think I have some N64 duplicates. They may or may not be packed away, but if I can locate them, do you want me to PM you a list?

My gaming budget is super tight right now, but if you have time I'd at least take a look. Maybe we can work out a trade. I know you're not necessarily looking for games yourself right now, but I might have some various project electronics stuff or something.

In fact, WCW was headquartered at CNN Center. There are stories of CNN anchors having to dodge falling ceiling tiles during live broadcasts in that era because someone on the floor above had just been taken down on the mat.

Just think of Wolf Blitzer running for cover any time you body slam someone in a WCW game.

Well, the THQ/AKI ones are. No Mercy gets a lot of love (rightfully so), but it was slower than molasses. WM2k was fun, but my favorite had to be WCW/NWO Revenge for nostalgia, or VPW 2 if I'm playing one now.

Fire Pro is a vastly underappreciated series, though. D (for Dreamcast) was sooooo much fun bitd. Returns (for PS4/PC) is really good, but don't expect to play this series for the graphics.

Not true at all.

Kane was a dentist.
