Your team can only be 4 characters, but you can have 4 teams configured that you can choose before selecting a mission.

Sounds like trouble where you can end up with a lot of underleveled characters unless you can replay completed maps or there's a random map generator to take care of that.

I'm absolutely amazed with this game. That could be in part because I had refused to even consider the possibility of a half-decent mobile game, let alone a good one, but either way, I'm tickled to death with it. Here's what I had to say about it on my blog.

There really are a lot of amazing smartphone games available. But I find your willful ignorance adorable.

The thing is, this one had the potential to turn out well because Fire Emblem really is suited for touchscreen play. I've played a couple of chapters and been pleasantly surprised. Now if I can get enough platinum coins to get that Zelda picross that I was stupid enough to not get before my 1000+ coins expired. (Dear Nintendo, expiring coins in a loyalty program sucks. Also, your new loyalty program in general sucks. Don't ever say I don't complain about Ninty occasionally, y'all!)

Stuck on Gwendolyn. My team does 0-2 damage on her.
