Crap or no, rare game is rare.
Just saw another copy pop up on ebay, 40 bucks for disc only. It ain't up to Pikmin 2 prices yet, but Gotcha Force seems higher on the rarity scale.

Did it actually sell for $40 or it was just listed for that?
I passed on a disc only copy at Gamestop yesterday myself.

I love rare stuff and there are quite a few stores kind of close to still get these, but I cant see myself going crazy to find'em.Unless its within 5 miles complete and less than $10.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

VGPC has seen it consistently going for $30 over the last few months, with one (PAL) going as low as $15 and one (complete) as high as $40.

So, just listed for that amount, which means nothing really.

My point was never really that it's selling all that expensively, (a few weeks ago I ordered a like new copy for less than $30), just that the game seems to be on the rarer side of most Gamecube games.

Two years ago, this was game being doled out (en masse) on eBay at $10 a pop. Sealed copies twice that. How the heck is this game getting this expensive? (Re: Wind Waker)

And now the disc only copy just went for about $40 on ebay (or was removed, idk) leaving the only copy between Amazon/ebay a Japanese version going for a little over a $100. Moral of the story? Gotcha Force is pretty rare, a few who've played it have hated it and a few who've played it have really liked it. If you see a copy at GameStop, no matter the condition, it'll be only $10, so go on and grab it. If you don't like it, throw it up on Amazon/ebay and make a decent return on your investment.
