I didn't know whether or not to post this, since some things were changed or removed from the arcade version in this port(like the mechs ). This is one of Capcom's weaker ports, but it's still a good beat'em up though for anyone just looking for a simple Final Fight clone. 200 is a big number for a list, so I'm throwing it in. Another must have for anyone looking to have every Capcom arcade port on the SNES

123. Rockman & Forte





A very late Super Famciom release, Rockman & Forte was made for the aging SFC hardware AFTER Megaman 8! Being the odd game not getting a numbered entry that takes place after 8 but before 9, I like to think of this as Megaman 8.5.

What's cool about R&F is instead of just a standard Megaman game, this one also allows you to play as Megaman's anti-hero rival named Forte/Bass depending on which side of the ocean you're on.

Forte/Bass can fire in eight directions, can double jump and also dash, making him much more maneuverable than Megaman is. On the other hand, he takes more damage, can't run and shoot at once and also can't charge his shot.

Nevertheless, Rockman & Fotre is an excellent gem in the vast SNES/SFC library. It was later ported to the GameBoy Advance as Megaman & Bass, but the GBA port is as you'd expect, inferior in every single way from the visuals, the sound and even the controls. Pick up Rockman & Forte if you want an enjoyable yet challenging import experience with little to no Japanese reading required.

124. Arkanoid - Doh It Again


There's not much to say about this game other than: "You want Arkanoid? You got Arkanoid!" You have 99 levels of Brick Breaking gameplay as well as bosses and a level editor.

125. Lufia 2 Rise of the Sinistrals





Though its Lufia 2, story wise the game is a prequel to the original Lufia, and at least in my view, should be played first. Lufia 2 tells the story of first main character's ancestor, Maxim, and explains the origins of the war between mankind and a group of superhumans called the Sinistrals.

Lufia II made a number of changes from the first game. Dungeons no longer have random encounters and there are hundreds of puzzles throughout the game, ranging from simple to extremely challenging. It also introduced new skills, such as a variety of weapons that could be used to stun monsters or solve puzzles, and IP attacks.

It was released rather late in the SNES life, so that, coupled with that it's a somewhat obscure RPG not from Square, prices tend to be high for it. If you spot it, nab it.
