I don't know if anyone saw this, but having just noticed the white line on my SNES, I figured I'd post this RetroRGB video (huge fan) that was posted a month ago. Looks like it's the voltage regulator and accompanying cap, and it can be fixed.

I thought the voltage regulator was old news? I mean, older than that video. I could've sworn I heard people bring up replacing the voltage regulator before, but to be honest, I haven't really been keeping up with the progress of the Vertical Line.
That's great if this simple fix works in 100% of Vertical Line occurrences. And if you're recapping a SNES, it's next to no extra work to swap the 7805 out too.

It may have been, I just read through some of this thread and didn't see any mention of it (could have missed it), but at least the info is out there and more accessible these days.
