I'm not 100% sure if this is legit, but I stumbled upon this while searching for a Saturn port to usb adapter solution:

If this is real, which it seems to be, then holy shit!! FINALLY!!!
GCN to N64 controller converter
Re: GCN to N64 controller converter
I know there are adapters that let you use an N64 controller on the Gamecube (I got one for OoT Master Quest) so one that works for the other way around sounds feasible to me.

All the same amount of buttons, right? Seems feasible to me I guess... but I can imagine some of the Z button stuff might be pretty awkward, lol. Considering it's a "trigger" on the N64 and just a shoulder button the Cube.

Pretty cool.
Of course, I'd want to map the c buttons to the c stick, and that probably wouldn't work.

Nice!
There's are homemade adapters too. http://code.google.com/p/cube64-dx/ I haven't made one, so I don't know how well it works. Might be fun to try sometime though.

Re: GCN to N64 controller converter
I would think people would want to use the N64 controller on the GCN, not the other way around. The GCN controller doesn't have enough buttons IMO.

For a lot of games mapping the c buttons to the c stick would work just fine.BoringSupreez wrote:I would think people would want to use the N64 controller on the GCN, not the other way around. The GCN controller doesn't have enough buttons IMO.
