I don't know if I have wider than normal hands, but even the 3DS XL was still too small for me. So I got one of the Cyber grips for my 3DS XL. It's incredibly comfortable and totally got rid of the hand cramps. Here's their New 3DS XL version:

Aww, a little disappointed it's just an expansion rather than a new game.

That'd be ideal of course, but the game's format lends itself really well to an extension of sorts

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Maybe I should sell my DS copy before its worth plummets.

I wonder if Atlus will bother bringing it over though?

Etrian Odyssey V released back in August 2016 in Japan. Here's what Atlus has said about localizing it for the West:

I looked around and I didn't see if it would come with the soundtrack like the original print run did. It was a pretty awesome soundtrack and it would be great if more people listened to it

I just bought Generations this weekend and then heard about XX. At first I was a little peeved but I guess it will be a while before it gets localized, assuming it does at all.

Plus you can apparently transfer your save file so you don't have to start all over from zero.
