I don't understand the logic behind these kinds of updates. The people who have already used the exploit, won't upgrade. The only people who will upgrade are the people who don't know/care about the softmod. So the exploiters lose their homebrew capability and the 'noobs' don't gain anything. So what exactly is the point? If you're going to do something like this surely you'd want to offer some kind of carrot/stick situation?
I updated. I'm not a "noob" and my Wii is not softmodded. I figured until I can softmod it, why not update it and take advantage of the features - if there is any.

That's my point though. Why bother when there is no advantages of updating? From what I can tell there's nothing added in this update. Only stuff taken away.
