I thought about gorilla glue on the Mario cart tabs, but I'd likely forget and break it years later . That cart will see some significant use.

I may swap good cart back on SMW & a glued back on NBA Live as that one won't really get any playing time by me personally. I'm assuming the inside are all universal and PCBs fit all carts. My new screw driver bit is currently enroute.

Save me $6 on a repro cart of the glue works. Not a huge deal but I really would rather not spend $6 to save a $2 sports game I have no nostalgia for.

Okay, good news. My 3.8mm torx came in. I was able to just swap the NBA Live 96 & SMW PCBs. The NBA PCB is practically double the size of SWM. Due to this, it also gets "held in" by the top tabs. Meaning, with 1 tabbroke, there are still 3 tabs holding it.

SMW now playable as the PCB is held in. NBA Live 96 is still playable in the "broken" cart back due to the large PCB size & 3 remaining tabs.

It does seem the PCBs and cart backs have universal tabs (carts) and notches (PCBs). I only opened up 5 carts so there may be exceptions.

Ah I didnt notice this post sooner. I have the bits to open the cart and just down the road.
