I recently got a sony pvm and ordered a scart to bnc adapter off of retrogamingcables.co.uk, I know its not the adapter itself because 240p wii games look just fine, here are some screencaps.
Genesis -

The Genesis seems to have a jailbar issue and has a purple tint, Here's the link to the cable https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/seg ... 0megadrive
Snes -

No jailbar issue here, but TERRIBLE color bleeding and a purple tint
Using a shielded scart cable I got from ebay by the popular seller retro_gaming_cables
Wii -

The wii has no issues at all, the image is outstanding.
Using a component to scart adapter I found off of ebay
Any solutions? Thanks

Re: SNES and Genesis scart color issue and jailbars on pvm
Not sure about these issues.
but....
Don't listen to the internet. Get Official cables from Sega and Nintendo. That goes for every fokking system actually. There are however some very few occasions where the quality of a third party cable comes very close to an original cable. But that's just playing russian roulette with your money. Sometimes some people on forums say that x cable from x seller is a good cable. And then you buy it to find out it;s s#it! Don't you deserve the best?
For the snes you could try the official Gamecube RGB Scart cable. It's output is completely glorious on the snes!

Re: SNES and Genesis scart color issue and jailbars on pvm
My best guess is that maybe your PVM would work better with a sync cleaner. Try this version of breakout cable: https://www.retrogamingcables.co.uk/son ... m-monitors
If you wanted to try something cheaper as a test, get a "boosted sync" cable for your Genesis from this ebay seller. Of course it would only potentially help your Genesis but if it improves the image then a sync cleaner would probably help the other consoles too.

Re: SNES and Genesis scart color issue and jailbars on pvm
I fixed the issue, all I had to do was set it to rgb mode in the menu, now I feel like an idiot , the interference issue was fixed by putting the sync on exit. Thanks for all your help!

Glad it was a simple fix!

That looks awesome. You can put a modern console like a Wii on a PVM and get scanlines? It's that easy just using a component to SCART adapter?
