It should have been animated. In like the 1970s.

Best Hobbit is Rankin Bass Hobbit, IMO. I had the book-on-cassette version of that one.

I'm sure like others that went to elementary/middle school I the 80's, that one was shown a few times during literature classes and I loved it.

The last new write-up of this unofficial foreign film month:

Dagon

AKA: That movie Noise always talked about that I watched several years ago on Youtube but never wrote about.

Otherwise known as 'that Lovecraft inspired film' that may or may not have inspired some of the visuals from RE4. It's got its flaws, but it's actually a pretty good Lovecraft adaptation (it's from the same director as Re-Animator after all), as long as you can overlook that it's not based on the short story Dagon, but actually based on The Shadow of Innsmouth.

Yeah, fair enough. I'd probably give Lord of War a solid 7.5/10. I'd probably bump that up to an 8 if it starred someone else.

I just checked Nick Cage's IMDB page. He has over 100 credited acting roles, so my opinion of his acting probably doesn't matter too much. I'm just saying what I think. He isn't a great actor.

Not a good actor but had a run at solid films that were fun to watch. Those days are long gone though . First seen him in moonstruck, as a teen, and thought he was dam good in that. What happened lol?
