Caught The X-Files 2 this weekend. As a fan of the series, it was nice to know what eventually happens to the characters, but I can see why it did so poorly. It really is an extended episode several years after the fact. It kinda hurt, seeing how old the actors had all become, especially considering I recently watched most of the fourth season...hard to believe that was over a decade ago.

Oh well. Marketing really dropped the ball on the film, but maybe it'll lead to fewer movies based on concluded series, which I wouldn't mind. I don't want to see tomorrow's movie roster full of yesterday's defunct shows. And I definitely don't want a Friends movie.

Currently rewatching Suspiria. I get paid in a few days and might upgrade to the Blue Underground release.

Just watched Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times. Great movie, a lot of the humor still stand up to this day. Good to see an excellent film that, while dated, still manages to outdo a lot of modern comedies.

Just watched Akira Kurosawa's Stray Dog. Excellent film, both as a movie about police work as well as a discussion about the youth in Japan after World War II.

Watched Lost Boys: The Tribe some time ago. Good, but not a great sequel.

Re-watched Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.
