There are some obscure ones like Toys and Do the Right Thing. If they were popular I wouldn't know it was before my time. Most surprising one in there is Cabin in the Woods, if it was supposed to be a homage or a B-Movie on steroids I didn't get the joke. I judged it as its own thing.

I think some of this is that you're from a different country. Do the Right Thing is very much an American movie, and the significance of it just wouldn't play outside of the US.

Knives Out is great. It’s a great who-dunnit in the classic tradition, with snazzy dialogue, nutty characters, and a great twist.

Currently rewatching IT. I bought the sequel recently so I'm going to watch both films.

So I just finished IT: Chapter Two and enjoyed it as much as the first one. But I felt both films ran just a bit too long.

Star Wars 9: Rise of Skywalker

It's not a good film. I feel it will be less divisive than Last Jedi but it is technically the inferior movie. There are now more bad Star Wars movies than there should be. Please stop making them.
