The only documentaries I've ever seen are:
* Party Monster: The SHOCKUMENARY (it was also the basis for the '03 film). It's about Michael Alig, who held outrageous parties, did massive amounts of drugs, and ultimately killed club kid/drug dealer Angel Melendez
* Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of Slasher Films. I loved it. It's about the slasher film trend of the early '80s.
* Halloween: 25 Years of Terror. Only have seen the first 20-40 minutes, though.
* This Film is Not Yet Rated. It's about all the double standards and dirty secrets of the MPAA. A gr8 compliment to IFC's four-part "Indie Sex" series.
And there was also this documentary about Hedwig and the Angry Inch. It's an 80some minute documentary on the DVD about how Stephen Trask and John Cameron Mitchell (who was referred to as being "the Otto Preminger of our time" once in the four-part Indie Sex special on IFC) created the character Hedwig and eventually the stage musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch".

I just watched Cashback. Apparently some people dislike it for various reasons, but I thought it was pretty good. There is a lot of stuff they could have gone with that they didn't, but the film was more about the romance than the thriller anyway.
All in all, I thought it was pretty good. Maybe not for everyone, but pretty good.

I finally got around to watching 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later, not too big of a horror fan but I liked them. The first I liked more for the soundtrack and such, but the second I think overall I'd consider the superior. Felt more attached to to the characters, and the Doyle guy was cool. Should be interesting to see what plot device they pull out their ass for 28 Months Later for another outbreak.

If you want a REAL zombie experience, may I recommend Dawn of the Dead and Zombie? The former is something that everyone and his mother knows about, and it's not just a gore-filled parade... it's also a clever satire of commercialism. And the latter, known as Zombi 2 in its native Italy, is another Lucio Fulci zombie-filled affair, with FAR more blood and guts (and a few choice scenes, like the zombie vs shark scene and the infamous "eye-gouging" scene) than DotD.
A few hours ago, I gave Sidney White a chance. It's basically a modern take on Snow White. The title character is a college freshman played by the supercute Amanda Bynes, who finds a rival in Brittany Snow (an ironic name since she's a total ice queen in this), and finds friendship in 7 nerds and romance in her rival's ex, much to the chagrin of her rival. Overall, it's a story of tolerance, acceptance, and realizing that the status quo is a load of bullshit as the TRUE power comes from those who go AGAINST it.
