Anyone have any preferences for which game we donate during? I will be working on a message, soon.

This may be obvious, but I would suggest any game that we think will have the most viewers as to get more exposure for the site. I hate to sound like we only have a selfish reason for raising the money, but I don't see why this can't be a win/win situation.

That would likely narrow it down to a late afternoon/evening slot. I'd think the Mega Man 1-3 team relay, the Ocarina of Time 100%, the Super Mario World race or the Link to the Past runs would be good options.

Should we also consider voting to name something? Name it RB2018 or something?

I think it depends on when the donation is applied and what the options are. For example, if we did it during, say, the Ocarina run, than we could put it towards a new (file)name (I think? Not sure how this works) or put it towards the Glitch Exhibition.

EDIT: Looks like the all the Ocarina names might be taken. Can we still add one? But it looks like there might still be Final Fantasy IV and Link to the Past character names available.

I propose we donate during the Link to the Past Randomizer race, because that sounds awesome, with the following message. Info on the time and details of the race below the message.

"Great runs by great players, as always. The Racketboy forum community thanks you for all your hard work raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, and also for the entertainment and the fantastic skills on display. Keep up the good work!"

Saturday, January 13th
8:00 PM EST The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Andy, ChristosOwen
2:00:00 Randomizer, No Glitches, Open Mode Race — SNES Prolix

Yay or nay?

I think 'retro gaming' should be in there somewhere. Some suggestions:

"Great runs by great players, as always. The Racketboy retro gaming forum community would like to thank everyone at AGDQ for all their hard work raising money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation, for all the donors who contribute and also for the hours of entertainment and the fantastic skills on display. Keep up the good work!"
