CHARITY AUCTION 2013 (old thread)
Re: CHARITY AUCTION 2013: DONATE UNTIL DEC 7th!!! AUCTION 12
Really wish I got payed this week instead of next week. Don't have any funds to go buy more stuff for the auction. Not if Im going to bid anyways.

MrHealthy wrote:I would bid on quite a few PAL games. There are quite a few PAL exclusive games out there, and of course many consoles like the PS3 or DS are region free and I would be willing to bid on anything I don't have. Also, A PAL version of super smash brothers melee would be an automatic minimum bid of $30 from me.
I have to ask - why?
Re: CHARITY AUCTION 2013: DONATE UNTIL DEC 7th!!! AUCTION 12
Its not a well known fact but Melee was actually "Patched" 4 times. In the NTSC regions we received versions '1.0', '1.1' and '1.2'. PAL regions got '1.3'.
These versions were released whenever they did a reprint. The first 2 revisions mostly fix bugs, with some minor balance / gameplay changes. PAL's 1.3 release on the other hand, received a much larger list of changes.
Melee is also a fairly significant game in my life. Maybe the most significant. So I would like to own every version of the game. As for why its $30 minimum bid, because its for charity. I wouldn't pay that much under normal circumstances.

I'll be chipping in at least one relatively awesome item for this. I'll look around to see if I have anything else I can contribute.
Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

Dsh, I have a Mario Kart DS T-shirt, but I'm not sure if it's something you'd want.
AFAIK, it was available only from Nintendo. I got mine with a promotion of a subscription to Nintendo Power (RIP) when I bought my Wii. It's brand new, came in the mail and went straight into my closet and sat there ever since.
Searching eBay, I've seen various Mario Kart DS shirts, but not this exact one. The ones that are on eBay don't sell for a whole lot of money ($5-10). So I know we only wanted quality items in this year's auction, and not the "clearing out the closet" type stuff. But if it's something you would want, let me know and I'll send you my official donation PM for it.
