Of course! I've known modders, photographers, and other people who used it as has been said, it was really cheap and good to use.

Yeah, I've used it to send files for work related stuff, I've used it to download files that were legal to share, etc. There's certainly a lot of legitimate usage of it, and from what I can tell the site was pretty good about taking down albums when they were notified to do so.

because bit torrent is a technology/concept, it's not physical or tangible and is not centralized at one website....

that's like saying they should shut down viruses.....

I've hosted some roms I've developed for the android community on megaupload before. It could be used for legit reasons, just not that often :lol:

Retromags.com is about 99% down because of this. Most of their scanned magazines were hosted on megaupload.

It's time to write to your congressional leadership to complain about this action.
