the song "The World Looks Red" on SY's Confusion Is Sex was actually a song Gira wrote for Swans but discarded.

Wow, really? I had no idea!

That's actually my favorite SY song.

Bump for noise.

Thanks to the recent represses of EJST&NS and NYC Ghosts and Flowers I didn't have to R.I.P. my bank account (well... not *as* bad anyway  )

sweet, dude. My SY collection has def grown since I last took pics - of course I don't really collect vinyl, so mostly any of vinyl I have is stuff that was never released on CD.

HOE LEE SHIT is that fantastic. Basically a bunch of Bad Moon Rising stuff but played with Steve Shelly instead of Bob Bert.

I'm also partial to Hold That Tiger which is a Sister era show that has an encore of Ramones covers, as well as Live At The Continental Club because it is basically EVOL in its entirety live.

As far as live footage goes. Jeez. You can't go wrong with The Year Punk Broke which is a concert film of SY, Nirvana, Dino Jr and so on. Gila Monster Jamboree is pretty great - an early SY show filmed in the desert.
