I play Drums, Bass, and Guitar. I also fiddle around with IDM and Chiptunes stuff.

BIGRY - Currently working on a record where I have guest vocalists on every song. It's my solo project. Post-Punk / Hardcore / Avant-Garde

Fellow Project: (drums) - My main band. Have like five 7''s out and we just finished our second LP (which I am stoked about!). Similar to Fugazi, Mission of Burma, Silkworm, Black Sabbath, AVAIL.
Also - New song from the record streaming from AMP magazine site

Firing Squad: "Melodic Hardcore" band I play drums in. Similar to Bear vs Shark, CapN' Jazz, Braid

Yes, Sensei: Now on hiatus (due to adult responsibilities), but I played Drums / Guitar. Similar to Unwound, Sonic Youth, Uzeda, Shellac.

**edit**
I forgot my music contribution to the Keith Apicary Neo-Geo remix last year!

Not pro at all and I would never want to play music for my job.
Fuck the RIAA.

Awesome, I'll check them all out. You mentioned Mission of Burma and Braid - shit yeah! Love those bands. Did you ever hear Bob Nana's band Hey Mercedes? I was able to see them live once right before their record dropped. They were awesome, first time I'd ever heard of HM or Braid.

I play guitar, bass, a tiny bit of drums (intermediate beginner, lol) and sing. Trying to learn the piano for someday. Payment Due is my little acoustic project that started as a joke and sorta took over my interests in playing punk and rock/metal.

I saw Braid back in 2004. They are touring now with the new record. I have to say I wasn't a fan of any of their side projects after Braid. However, I liked a ton of the bands they were in the early 90's such as Friction and Sky Corvair (which was a Braid + CapN Jazz member supergroup).

I love Mission of Burma so much.

Your stuff sounds similar to this band called "The Brrr" that my friend put out on his label.
You might like it a lot!

I've played piano ever since I was a little one. I was sort of trained classically, though not with the same intensity of some other classically trained players. I just learned to read and perform classical music and took about as far as being able to play Grieg's Piano Concerto. I was in a percussion ensemble throughout high school and played a lot of different percussion instruments then.

After my formal education in music, I taught myself jazz improvisation and music production. I don't do much with it these days because I don't have the time, but I have a recorded a few little electronicy things you can listen to here that are all me:

http://www.esnips.com/web/JTsmusic

JTs House is probably the best track of the bunch. You can hear me improvising over the top of some funky house beats I recorded.
Muck Mouth Creep is an unfinished dnb track that gets pretty grimey.
Noodle is experimental idm breakbeat stuff. My best attempt to emulate my hero, Aphex Twin (though his work is far superior).
That Flute Tune is a house track. It's simple, but my wife loves it. She's sort of my metric for what might have more mainstream appeal if I ever really get my shit together and record more.
Cheeser is a breakbeat track that starts out pretty cool, but then I added cheesy horns and I've never been able to figure out what to do with it after that. Again, half-formed ideas.

So, yeah, not too much to show for myself compared to some of the other musicians here, but at least its all original and I play or sequence all the parts. I would love to do more with it, but I just haven't been able to sit down with my music equipment for a long while.

Your stuff is great JT. When the heavier drums kick in Muck Mouth... F-yeah!
Cheeser sounds like it would've been a great Amiga tune (I think it's my fav).

Thanks man! It's nice to hear some positive encouragement. :D

I know I've got a lot of room to grow, but I'm just a little bedroom musician who does it for fun so it's good to hear that somebody else likes something I've recorded.

I'm listening to BIGRY right now. It reminds me a little bit of Unwound, but more upbeat. I'm digging it so far and looking forward to listening through some of the other stuff you posted. Big up!

I would say Nathan Barnatt is a musician of some sort. I just don't know which sort to sort him as!

I went to school for Percussion and mostly concentrated on World Percussion. I also play Guitar and sing but I've dabbled with Trombone and Bass.

I have a solo acoustic thing: http://kevinwillingham.bandcamp.com
Kind of a mix of Ska, Punk, and Folk
http://kevinwillingham.tumblr.com

Play middle eastern percussion in a band called Final Veil
http://www.finalveil.com (I suggest listening to Pied Piper, I play Afro Cuban stuff and have a solo :p )

Then there is my punk band Shinsplints (which is actually just recently split up)
I do however have a rough mix of one of our songs up called All Else Fails http://kdubrecords.com/index/media/

I have some of my other percussion stuff (such as lessons and solo videos) here
