Musician's thread?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Hey there. I play guitar, harmonica, and a few different brass instruments. Also program drums and MIDI stuff. I play metal with my friends most of the time, but hopefully I'll write some acoustic stuff for an indie game soon. I'll have to do programming and draw sprite art first, though, so that would be getting ahead of myself.

Nice to see so many other gamers/musicians in here! Gaming has a pretty awesome musical tradition.

Just finished* putting together my self hosted web page for my music. Moving up in the world and away from all the blogs and networking pages haha.

Check it out! http://kevinwillingham.com

*by finished I mean it is up and ready to roll for the most part, not 100% done.

I'm going to try February Album Writing Month (FAWM). Fourteen (and a half) songs in one month, which basically means one song every two days.

My profile is here: http://fawm.org/fawmers/mjmeerman/

If anyone else wants to try this (and you should!), it's at http://fawm.org/.
Gaming accomplishments:
Nibbler (marathon): 251,169,160 / Nibbler (one life): 5,263,360 (WR)

One month?!?! If I was doing more electronic stuff I could see myself completing this.

I'm working on an album that I want done by the summer. I've only got like 4 or 5 fleshed out ideas, plus I want my friends to make guest appearances on it. (and I need to book studio time  )

I thought about tackling that thing once. Too bad i'm moving in February...

EDIT: Oh wow, I could've sworn I posted in here...

I play guitar, and I do a bit of vocals and bass. Tried to start a band a few times but it always fell through and we could never get all the members. I demo a bunch with programmed drums.
