Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Want a japanese official black Dreamcast ?

Me too- but I think I got as close as you can to owning one:

The idea is simple- just buy a Dreamcast Sports system, sand it with fine grit sand paper, cover the logo with some tape, and then sprey the lid (not the entire top half) with some krylon fusion.

And for reference here is the real thing:

I plan on overclocking this one and the other one I did the same thing to, and maybe a region mod if it isn't too dificult. I also did a controller, I'll post pictures soon.

I've got an R7 dreamcast from Japan. This Dreamcast is black, But it has the R7 graphics on the lid and controller.

I just wish there was an easy way to get black controllers to match...

Did you paint the controllers or did they come like that?

The controllers were painted too, and I think it's the best part of the whole set up.
