Legal Backpacks?

Post by aaron »

guys, i'm going on a camping trip very soon, and i wanted to bring all of my games with me (yes, all of them, you never know!). do you guys think this is okay? i put the disc-based games in dvd binders, just to be safe. don't worry, the manuals are there too.

well since you bought that backpack, I think you'd be doing nothing wrong if you stole the same one.

that's what i'm saying! i really do need two, this one won't fit any grape pop-tarts or peanut butter in them with all of my games in there. i know this is kind of a grey area. thanks for the help.

i may end up just going to target to grab new thing. and by new thing, i mean backpack.

I'm no lawyer, but what you're doing is perfectly legal.

no more of a joke than every other piracy discussion on the internet, ever.

plus, seriously, i need to figure out a storage solution without the legal ramifications of backpack modding. if i sew on another pouch to store my car adapters, will i void my backpack's warranty?

I know this is a joke but it depends on the company. Some of the bigger companies are ok with it, aslong as you dont send it in for tears (only frame damage). Other companies view any change as a void of warranty. Unless you were talking about a normal backpack and not a hiking backpack.

I'm deeply hurt by your blatant backpacking piracy.. My father was a backpack maker - he worked 3 and a half shifts a day just to provide a roof over our head and food for our family.. He was killed when he fell asleep at the conveyor one night and a 75 pound stack of JanSports came toppling down onto his head. Emergency first responders say he didn't die instantly.. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

I'm backtracing this to the cyber-police. Consequences will never be the same!
Consider yourselves warned!

Really, you should grab two so that you can keep the original in mint condition.
