Yeah, I think that'd make for a cool article. Interesting topic of discussion for sure. It's got me brainstorming on other examples.

Yeah, I like that idea as well. It's something that hasn't been re-hashed over-and-over eventually being a trope on youtube.

I only have three games for my 3DO and sadly this isn't one of them either. We need to change that!

My two games are Syndicate and Starblade! What are yours?

The three games I have are Return Fire, Need for Speed, and Space Ace!

My cousins also had Syndicate and Star Control II. Would love to revisit those as well sometime.

You can always grab Star Control II from the Ur-Quan Masters project.

Test post.
Seems to be working (for me). I can view other topics and stuff on my end.

Unpaved roads in flood-prone areas suck. My street isn't paved and every time there's a fuckton of rain (like the past 5-7 days), my street floods. A few days I had to ride my bike to work barefoot in shorts. Thankfully the weather's been decently warm, but yesterday it dropped back to mid/upper 50s when the wind shifted. Thankfully the water thinned out today.

Really wish I knew who to talk to about getting my road paved, since doing so would make driving down it much easier AND if it floods again then more than likely it won't be as deep.

Appreciate the info, Popo! I'll have to check this out. Looks like there's a Mac OS version, so that's great.

Photoshop has AI generation now and it's pretty impressive.

I took issue 2 of Nintendo Power and with just a few clicks I was able to remove the text and expand the width of the image. (It's now 16:9 for use as a wallpaper).

The original cover:

I used this specific image as an example because a few years ago I did this manually without AI. For comparison...

What took minutes or even hours now takes seconds. It's kinda nuts. Back when I was regularly making labels for repro carts and custom covers, I would painstakingly remove text and stuff form images. Now you just select something with the lasso tool, and type "remove text" or whatever and click a button and it's done for you.
