hey,
this site is great, it fits my video game interests perfectly. I'm an illustrator and graphic designer.
I'm currently having sellers remorse of a massive collection about 3 years ago. I decided to get back into gaming but limit it to my favorite system, Sega Saturn.
My collection HAD an NES, SNES, 3 Master System variations, Genesis, Front loading Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, Playstation, Turbo Grafx 16, 2600, Jaguar, Gameboy Color, GBA, GameGear. AND A TON OF GAMES. Most tragically I had all of the rare US Saturn releases, Dragon Force, Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force III, etc...
Hopefully some of you got these and are enjoying them!
I use a mac because of my work and I am not the most tech savvy guy so some of these mods and burning projects are pretty challanging but fun.

It is pretty fun to find other people that actually have the same gaming style.
Usually the typical "retro" gamers are very oldschool and are mainly into arcade and atari-type stuff.
I like the more modern-retro if that makes any sense.
The age isn't what's important to me -- it's the style of gameplay

Anyway, glad to have you aboard as well!

very cool!
Congrats on the move to the living room :) I don't see that hapenning to me, but I'm ok with it. As long as I get some freedom with the basement, I'm happy.

Sounds like you have some excellent taste in games as well ;)

Hope to see you around!

oizukitom, I have to agree with you on Lords of Thunder. I preferred Gates for gameplay, but LoT was a more impressive looking with flashier graphics and a grittier soundtrack.
