Also succeeded in making me feel nostalgic for 2-XL. I had one as a kid, though it was the newer model that used cassette tapes rather than 8-track. I wonder if I still have it somewhere?

I was supposed to go back today to help get the restaurant ready to open this Friday, but I'm gonna go in tomorrow instead and then work Friday and Saturday (hopefully doubles).

Wow that 2XL story, amazing. I remember those toys, at least I guess the 80s version of it. I think the natural progression of it kind of was to the cassette using Teddy Ruxpin of the mid 80s. I actually saw one of those in the last month in a box, problem is the battery box was corroded so badly I left it. Always wanted either of those in the day and never got one.
