Well remember when you were bitching about no hours in the off season? Overtime money needs to go in the bank for that.

Getting hours like this is a god send if you want to move.

I'm literally tired AF all the time and cash can't fix that, outside of buying a can of Bang or Reign before work.

Make money when you can. I worked most every day for four months.

It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to work Duck Donuts so early. Basically my shifts all start at 6:30 and end around 9:30. I might get to take a 2-3 hour nap between jobs, but I usually wake up from those groggy as hell.
I'm grateful for the cash, but it can't take the place of 8 hours a night of uninterrupted sleep, which my body legitimately requires.

I wish you good luck in your endeavors.
I will tell you that since you want to break into the film industry, everyone I know that works on a tv show or a feature, ends up working 12-18 hour days, five days a week. And if they are a PA they work something else on the weekend. Low budget films are usually hell on weekends and day job during the week.

Got my manager at Duck Donuts to move me to a later shift (10-closing).
Only two days, but all things considered, including them closing two hours earlier and cutting hours due to the forthcoming season change, it's actually for the best.

You whine too much. I once spent six months working at a political consulting firm during campaign season. No days off. My day started at 6am and ended at 11pm.

I don't whine, I vent. Or I get insanely pissed off and literally stuff that shit deep down inside.
