So what have you guys been watching lately?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I just don't know why this exists. Konami has largely abandoned the Castlevania franchise, and the series has always done better in the west than in Japan. Since their major shift to gambling from games development, I have to wonder if the Castlevania property is even relevant any more going forward. Unless Konami is still interested in developing the series for western gamers, I don't understand why this exists.

Might be an attempt at a relaunch. Not sure how they're doing in the pachinko realm, but I thought I read something about them not quite reaping the profits they were expecting recently.

Star Wars the Clone Wars, very solid writing and good values to it. I think I like Rebels a bit better but it's good stuff. Now if I can actually finish it...

Really? I know that as of a few years ago most of their profits came from their casino slot machines. Pachinko is really not a great place to be right now in Japan. Pachislots are sort of taking over from pachinko, and with the limits Japan places on gambling, that's also making things tough.

Twin Peaks. I forgot how sappy the music is in the episodes and how much they overplay Luara's death. I do like the show but no doubt really wierd. Only Lynch anything I enjoy.

Maybe because I am mentally fucked but everything else Lynch did. I just found really funny esp Eraserhead. The cow fetus baby thing was just funny. The dude that shows up to a party in one film and tells him to call home and the same dude answers. Supposed to be so scary but I could not stop laughing to the point it hurt. Twin Peaks gets a little cringe but at the same time kinda why it's so enjoyable. I am trying to re watch it so I can start on Season 3.

Yeah, you might be right. In that case, it may just be keeping the name alive so they can make mad cash on that erotic violence hot pachislot action.

There are many questions in this world.
