Game you LOVE that everyone else HATES
Re: Bad Games you actually like
The oldest bad games I like and own would be NES Deadly Towers and Dragon Power even back then I was relentless on trying to advance and make progress in these two pretty horrible obsolete games.
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.

High Five! Sonic 3D Blast is, well, a blast! Not as great as the original 4 Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog titles, but better than a lot of the 5th gen Sonic games, IMO, and still fun.

Re: Bad Games you actually like
I don't know if it's because I thought in 1996 that I was getting a 3D version of Streets of Rage but this game was played non stop on the Playstation with my friend. Playing it now I can see how it was slated but I still enjoy smashing up vending machines to get health, and I love that enemies wait whilst you finish your can of drink before attacking.
Mostly for the battle arena mode which felt like a combination of Destruction Derby and Mario Kart. I've also got a fascination with league tables and remember this game having a longer Championship than the 4-race Mario Kart. There was also a great diversity in the characters albeit highly stereotypical. I need to dig this game out.
Currently playing Splinter Cell: Blacklist

I loved Fighting Force myself, it was the second game that was a letdown to me since the emphasis was on guns rather than fists!

That soundtrack.
I've never even played Sonic R, but I have the soundtrack on my ipod.
That's all I need to say.
Re: Bad Games you actually like
A lot of people liked to poo-poo it when the game originally came out, but I've always had a soft spot for Beyond the Beyond. I really liked the Shining Force games growing up, so was constantly chomping at the bit for something new from Camelot, so I just gobbled up Beyond the Beyond when it came out.

Beyond the Beyond
Drakkhen
Ephemeral Fantasia
Evergrace
Eternal Ring
Heroes of the Lance
The 7th Saga
Secret of the Stars
Fatal Labyrinth
Hydlide
Quest 64
Lagoon
Aidyn Chronicles
All of those are "bad" RPGs which actually kick ass or are at least fun to play. Certainly more enjoyable than most modern Square Enix tripe.
