Was digging through my old cds and found Coldplay's first album Parachutes. Haven't heard it for years. Yeah, most band's debuts are their best album. I love the last three songs in the album, so slow and relaxing. The whole album is very solid.
Also the Killers' Sam's Town. The album is kinda weird but so catchy. Again, been a long time since I heard this one. This one is solid throughout not like Hot Fuss and Day and Age.
Also found Radiohead's Pablo Honey, the one people hate. I used to like this one a lot. Kinda grown out of it I guess (kinda grown out of Radiohead as a band actually), couldn't finish the album.
Oh yeah also there was Keane's debut. It got some nice songs in there with some fillers. Nice to hear after all these years.
