TV/NES Combo Unit - Pics Added!!!

by Mod_Man_Extreme Fri Apr 17, 2009 11:07 pm

So I'm checking out the local goodwill and what should I come across but the coolest old TV I've ever seen. It's a 20'' Sharp set that looks like a TV/VCR combo but when I came up close I saw that it was a TV/NES combo, complete with two controller ports on the front for $25. But due to not having anywhere to put it I didn't pick it up. So if anybody near Statesville, NC wants it go by an snag it while you can!

EDIT: I bought it!

Here's the TV lookity-box:

If I were you I'd go back and grab that thing pronto. I've seen these sold for upwards of $500.00 in the not too distant past. There were 2-3 different models to the best of my knowledge that were manufactured. The Sharp 19sc111 and the Sharp 19sv111 which is uber rare. Only 200 models were made. There is one on Ebay now as a matter of fact. Check them out on Ebay by searching for Sharp and those model numbers.

I may pick it up now. But it all depends on if it's still there, and if it even works.

Yeah, quickly google it and realize how jealous the rest of us are. You passed up an old hotel TV/NES and it's worth a pretty penny. If it's broken, it's an easy fix.

I sure hope it's still there for you when you go back. Please take pics and share.

I'll be near Statesville, NC in about three weeks.

If you buy it and hold it for three weeks, I'll pay you $75 for it.

I would/will if I could covince my mom its worth it. She has an aversion to all things game related, so me buying a TV for NES only is gonna make her freak.

Edit: Anyhow, if I get it I'll be posting it up with the other items on my trade thread.
