If you're talking about those ones where you recruit X amount of people to sign up under you, then they complete an offer or something, then they'll send you a free whatever...I'd assume some are legit. My friend from high school actually got an fourth-gen iPod from one way back when. Even though you were supposed to complete an offer for a service or something that you pay for, there was an offer that was easy enough to complete for no charge by signing up for it and canceling it. It was through this exploit that he got the iPod. Lucky bastard. Also, it broke, so he took it in to the Apple Store, and since they didn't have any 4th-gens in stock, he got a brand new 5th-gen video iPod. He was a genius.

It's a pyramid scheme. It pays off for the first few people, but they can't sustain that kind of growth forever, so most people lose out. If you don't mind alienating your family and friends by signing them all up for marketing material for a free 360, I guess it's worth a shot.

Your personal standard for "genius" must be pretty low...CaptainWeasel wrote:If you're talking about those ones where you recruit X amount of people to sign up under you, then they complete an offer or something, then they'll send you a free whatever...I'd assume some are legit. There all scams. Don't you think they'd more popular if they were legit?

Haha, that was a little afterthought of the guy. I always think that when I talk about him, regardless of the material before itDuManchu wrote:Your personal standard for "genius" must be pretty low...

Another thing I heard is some of thing make you try a bunch of sites for free but then it will ask you for your credit card number and you have to cancel before the trial period is up or it charges you up the ass if you don't cancel.

they are legit...just not very fun. Normally your free blah blah blah will cost you about 50$, sign up fees...then cancel after your first month to blah blah sites. I had one friend that got the free arcade xbox once upon a time as well as, i believe, a 42 inch tv. Put it this way, alot of people use it to make money.
"Takes money to make money"
Spend 300$ and get a bunch of free crap, list it on ebay, make 600. I just dont think its worth it due to the bull and hastle of trying to do it "just right"
Also i havnt seen any in awhile...i used to see the ads literally everywhere.
