I've seen Troll 2, it's fun to watch and yeah, My Soul To Take wasn't bad but most people think it's brokennoiseredux wrote:I loved My Soul To Take, too. I don't even see why you'd think of that as a bad movie that you're ashamed to love. Surely you've seen way worse? You've seen Troll 2, right? If you haven't then you're wasting your time doing anything else, man.KillerJuan77 wrote:It's horrendous and consider this, I loved My Soul To Take so you can imagine how abysmal Fear Dot Net is.noiseredux wrote:Fear Dot Net was on over the weekend. Troll 2, check. Good.
Have you seen Slugs? Same director as Pieces (which I'd hope you've seen as well). Slugs is even better in my opinion.
And how about Humanoids From The Deep? Certainly appropriate for the recent heatwave.

I LOVED PIECES, one of the best slasher flicks I've ever seen. And yes I've seen Slugs, it was pretty entertaining and some of the death scenes are incredibly disgusting.noiseredux wrote:Troll 2, check. Good.

I just updated my master list of movie reviews I've written in this thread since May of 2009 (link in signature). There are almost 200 of them now
I also asterisked all the 4.5/5 and 5/5 reviews, for anyone who is perusing it to find something to watch.

I'm a fourth! The movie really is a '90s classic with a lot to offer if you're willing to appreciate it. It has its flaws, sure, but overall it's a real treat.AppleQueso wrote:I think it's a really fun and imaginative film. Bob Hoskins, John Leguizamo, and Dennis Hopper are all three absolutely great in it. Really underrated.Limewater wrote:I don't know if you're serious or joking now, but if I recall correctly at least two of us on this forum honestly love that movie.Xeogred wrote: ... I will say I love the Super Mario Bros movie. Oh yeah, I went there.
So yeah you can count me among the people who genuinely love that film. Wish it'd release on blu ray.
Have any of you three ever been to the movie's website? I know that they're pushing for a Blu-Ray re-release. Wouldn't hurt to get any of you over and involved.

I know. Plot does, which Cap lacked.indecks wrote:Luke wrote:Fixed!indecks wrote:Captain America.

Fun? Yes.
A well put together movie? Nope.
I can only suspend disbelief for so long, and it was a chore even in the first act. I still can't figure out why the writers didn't take advantage of the Red Skull. One of the best villains of all time, and they wasted him. Having him hump an American flag would have been more evil than anything he does in the movie.
