What RPG are you playing right now?

For some reason I thought you had played that a few years ago. But maybe we were just talking about it, and I'm getting confused.

In the meantime, I'm playing Wasteland 2 and having a blast.

Haven't played it in some time. I just talk about the same 5 games repeatedly. Have I ever told you about Ys or Xak or The 7th Saga?

So after going through Ys: Oath in Felghana in the Together Retro group, I am now giving Ys VI a go on Steam.

I started playing The Witcher, which from what I can tell is about monster killing and objectifying women. You know. Tuesday.

Well, with The Witcher done, and not yet wanting to jump into the sequel, I figured I'd go look at a totally different series. I'm now playing Beyond Divinity, the second of the Divinity line. I've played through Divinity: Original Sin and am currently playing Original Sin 2 with some friends, but I'd never tried the first games. As for why I went with Beyond and not Divine Divinity, Beyond was willing to work with minimal effort. I'll play Divine eventually, but not today.

The Divinity games are decent. I started with Divinity II (which is the third one, obviously) and then went backwards myself.

How is that one? Is it still in the Diablo-style of action RPG, or has the series fully transitioned into tactical combat like in the Original Sin games or titles like the recent Shadowrun trilogy?

It's a little different compared to the first two games. It's less Diablo-like in terms of look and feel. There's an emphasis on dodging during combat, and you get to play a good chunk of the game as a dragon. I'm not up-to-date on my CRPGs so I dunno what to compare it too.
