All good, brother man. It ain't for everyone. You gotta really be in the mood for angsty anime shit to get down with P3. P4 is a little less of that "everyone's parents are fucking dead, all is doom and gloom" vibe, so you might enjoy that better.

Well, like I said, I'm keeping my save file. Maybe I'll have an urge to go back to it sometime and it will click.

In the meantime, don't let me derail this thread. I'd like to see other people playing P3 and see what their opinions are. 8)

I'm enjoying it, but I'm pretty slow going. I'm working on Block 2 of the Tartarus and I have exams coming up to study for. Anyone know what level your Academics should be for the first test?

I think 3 is required for the best result, then 4 or 5, then 6.

I passed on Average. Got an "above average" score.

Well here I am with my like/dislike relationship with P3P.

Currently at Floor 59, saved at the Intrepid Knight boss fight. Haven't beat him just yet, I'm sure I can with a little rejigging of my team's setup.

Still got my same complaints about P3P as I did earlier, while also admitting there's an addictive element to the experience in spite of its myriad foibles.

Feels like no one's in this TR other than Stark and myself. Which confirms my initial belief that the greater gaming populace gave no shits about Persona until Persona 4 came out.

P4 broke down the floodgates for sure. That's why you see all the spinoffs/adaptations/milking for that one, and not as much (yet) for P3—though they're trying.

Some dudes on RPG Codex were telling me that Persona 3 is considerably more difficult than Persona 4. Is that true guys?

Seems like that's only marginally true, neither seem terribly difficult to me.
