What, you don't like your character to be "Doom guy suffering a bee allergy"?

I've heard the best version of Eye of the Beholder is the Sega CD version.

I sure enjoyed it. The soundtrack really does add to the atmosphere.

I did play through with the mouse though. I can never quite get used to the controller.

I really wish they did the follow-up games for Sega CD. But I'll just have to find the right setup for the dos version (dos box on DS plays EOB2 pretty well for a portable option (my preference right now)), although not 3). I do have a Windows based tablet that might work too.

About Warriors of the Eternal Sun, part of the game (dungeons) is EOB style. Just mentioning as it was said to be just turn based.

I actually found a copy of Warriors of the Eternal Sun not too long ago. I still need to give it a go.

I liked it well enough. I just rage quit it when I got killed stupidly in the depths of the last dungeon. No way to save in dungeons if I remember correctly (or if possible, I forgot to).

Starting over might be fun sometime though.
I may or may not be weird, but making a party and starting off is one of the most enjoyable aspects of those types of games for me.

You should check out the Ravenloft games then. Odds are you won't survive the first encounter anyway.

When they go on sale on GOG again, I'll probably try to snag them. I've got about half of the Gold Box D&D games right now.
