Damn, that's an awesome list. DS is one of my favorite handhelds ever, and a big part of that is because RPGs (well, JRPGS) found a new home there (along with the PSP) after game budgets skyrocketed on the PS3/360.
I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.

I may just be missing it, but just noticed that there is no Advanced Wars Dual Strike or Days of Ruin on the list?

Working on a GBA list too.............
Need Hexyz Force and Class of Heroes 2 for a complete PSP RPG Set.....let me know your price!!!!

They're not really RPGs, they're just strategy games. They're not SRPGs either, they only represent the 'S'

I don't know about the rest of the guys, but those aren't RPGs to me. There's no real leveling up, and other than your commanders (who aren't even field units), there are no actual characters in the gameplay. Those are straight up strategy games, not SRPGs.

Ok, no problem, I just hear it mentioned all the time in relation to Fire Emblem and wanted to get your opinions.
