what in your opinion are the worst jrpgs

I CANNOT stand JRPGs whose central male character is a wimp-tard.

It's not a deal breaker, but any game that starts with the main character lying in bed gets on my nerves. LOL

I'll throw Resonance of Fate out there was playing it a week or two ago and just got tired of the remedial shit. Literally the game is split up into days with each day having the most remedial job you could imagine going on. It also has a really weird combat system that while interesting gives the enemies a huge advantage and you also have to use item drops from enemies to unlock every hex on the over world map one shape at a time so there is a shit ton of grinding .

I kept waiting and waiting for things to pick up and get interesting but around 20 hours in I was like screw this I can't stand to be the errand boy for another rich asshole who wants me to escort a freaking statue through a dungeon full of two story tall monsters and who pays all of 1/100th of what I need for a new weapon. I did have some fun with the weapon customization though seeing as you could slap about 15 attachments on a single pistol seriously who need 4 scopes on a handgun .

I mean in what world does this weapon work

Suikoden III and Suikoden IV

After playing 1 and 2 I was really excited for III and gave the series another chance with IV but they just didn't have the same feel of the first two games.

Golden Sun. Too much damn reading, uninteresting style.

Might give it another try though

Like you say, not the worst game but not the best either, story was forgetable and way too short.

Lunar: Dragon Song

This is probably the worst game I've ever bothered to actually beat. It's awful. I can rant about it for a long time, but I'm up too late as it is. Just know that it's TERRIBLE and don't let the "Lunar" name fool you, it's an insult to the rest of the series.
